Legends

The Legends Initiative

Held in our highest regard and admiration, Esteemed Alumni are those who have completed a four-year Influential U study in transactional competence. Led in fellowship with co-founders Kirkland Tibbels and John Patterson, this initiative includes a wide range of strategies to advance and expand the application of transactional competence.

The video above was captured in Ojai, California at the 2017 Annual Member Conference as part of our Shark Tank game. It includes (in order of appearance) legends Angela Meharg, Marcus Bell, Brandon Hollembeak, Louisa DaSilva, Joanna Burgraf, and James Walls.

A heritage initiative for legendary graduates.

heritage: something that exhibits longevity, track record, long-held core values; e.g. a heritage brand is an entity that’s been around for years - and finds a way to tap into their history in order to procure a more valued identity.

initiative: an act or strategy intended to resolve a difficulty — or improve a situation; a fresh approach to something, as in "a new initiative for your next chapter of life."

The Legends Initiative is designed to support a wide range of aims and ambitions, including post-graduate study in a specific field, research or advance work on a particular issue, developing a new community-based organization or initiative, training, and reflection to support the alumni’s growth. It is the opportunity to further advance your personal or professional aims in a dynamic affiliation with the co-founders and other alumni.

The Legends Initiative is a prescribed program and environment with the option to either participate as structured or the freedom to forego obligation—we tailor the approach to your ambitions and needs.

This course is a study in applied development. Led in fellowship with co-founders Kirkland Tibbels and John Patterson, this program advances and expands the application of transactional competence. Key elements of this training include an in-depth exploration of a particular issue, aspiration, or skill development. This development includes the ability to research, articulate and publish articles, presentations, and talks which expand your iconic identity.

The program structure is designed for advanced review, leading-edge material, and identity development. We begin with a curriculum review, explore the communication of assimilated learnings, then develop our transactional leadership.

We could say a great deal about the opportunity of a consequential environment. Left to our own devices, none of us would have accomplished so much in so little time. We each have a love-hate relationship with rigor and obligations; however, our research shows that we thrive among them.

Delivered internationally, our program sessions are delivered live on zoom and led by co-founder Kirkland Tibbels.

Our study modules are offered through a website-integrated learning management system (“LMS”) to organize, track, and simplify the learning process

The LMS systematically offers the study module content and its application, lesson by lesson, topic by topic. Any work you complete is saved as you have last completed it. This means that you can write something and return to any aspect of it throughout the program (and the entire curriculum) to edit it as you evolve.

Our programs are currently only delivered in English.

Yes, you must first have completed the four-year curriculum (including the successful completion of MAP2: PSTI).

Access to this program is by invitation only, however, you may always request an invitation.

The programs are currently led only in English.
